Osirec offers a unique collection of watches that blends Swiss quality and technology with the elegance and prestige of the Pharaohs. Designed in France, the collection currently includes the Horus/Lotus line (42mm case, chronograph, Valjoux 7750 movement). A prestigious limited edition of timepieces called Orion will be launched in 2013. Each watch is manufactured in Switzerland.

Osirec started as a successful internet retailer. With its growing line of products and inquiries from customers all over the United States, Europe and the world, the brand believes that starting to showcase Osirec in fine retail stores is the right way to introduce its watches and jewelry to new clients and provide them with a wonderful experience at their local and trusted retailers.

Very interesting for certain... I've seen them in magazines, would love to see one in the flesh. Generally not a gold fan, but the top piece is eye-catching.

Pretty attractive, actually. Having a dial based on specific gods would be neat - a solar powered model could feature Ra, etc. Always been a fan of Anubis as well.

$3k is a bit salty for a startup methinks, but certainly to be expected, and also could have been much worse.

A lot of thought and work went into those well executed designs. Although they are eye catching and attractive the dial would after a time get old and the watch would remain stored in the box.
