I just purchased an Invicta 10915 perpetual calender minute repeater that has a Citizen movement inside which is also used in the Bulova 96C21. I want to see if any one else has this watch or its brothers. From what I can tell it is a fairly rare watch. I personally like Invicta watch and have 7 now and have never had ANY issues. I also have several Citizens also and the same is true with them. This will be my 4th perpetual calender watch, 2 Citizens and a Casio Waveceptor atomic. I wish the new watch was an ECO drive but for the price I'll deal with it.

Invicta...Perpetual calendar...minute repeater... I almost fell out of my chair. Then realized we are talking quartz.
Looks like it's powered by Miyota 6760/6U60 movement, that can be found in some Citizens and Bulovas. Considering all the features and sapphire crystal it's not a bad value proposition (assuming you paid Amazon price).

How is the readability on it? Seems like dials are pretty tiny and hands are not easiest to read.
With quartz - I expect that if there are no initial issues - Invicta is just as fine as most quartz in this price range. Unlikely to have any issues w Miyota movement assuming initial QC passes on the rest of the watch.

All things considered - it's not a bad way to achieve some cool complications on a budget (mechanical equivalent would cost 200X, but then again complexity involved is quite different from quartz). Enjoy it.

PS. Invicta just could not help themselves. Amazon description has: "The timepiece contains a specially designed caliber hand made in Japan for Invicta."

Does dumpster diving through the QC fails count? :-d

It is a 47mm with a Citizen 6765 non-eco drive quartz movement. Same as the Bulova machinist. The Bulova is $500+ and the Citizen usually goes for around the $2000+range. I picked it up for $343.95

That's a nice looking Invicta. Isn't the seconds hand straight from the new Precisionists though?

Just got the new watch. Very nice!A good size too , not too big but not too small. Setting it is , how would I say, "A pain in the A#$!!" I found the Citizen instructions and it is 61 pages looooong! They do call it an "ebook" after all. Mine is the black w/white face. I'll try and post a pic.

But once it's set there's not much left to do. Have you been playing around with the dancing hands? They're so cute.

Ha had this watch for a couple weeks now. Had to get help from Citizen to set it as it is a Citizen movement and as are most Citizen multi function watches they are a bit difficult to set. Could not figure out how to set the perpetual calender setting and the am/pm 24hr dial. I looked at me other perpetual calender watch and it was set in the LTM setting master time. Works now. I wish Citizen would design a simpler way to do setting things. Not to big but not to small. 44mm. Alligator strap. Very happy!
