Since replacing my old Pioneer turntable with the Sony, it's been sitting in the closet. I thought it would be an interesting project to make a winder out of it. I may try to run sandpaper across the motor pully while it's running to make the diameter smaller-that would lower the RPMs. But if 33 is ok then I'll leave it alone. And I would put a timer on it to control the turns per day.

I'd post this in our excellent "Watchmaking" forum here on WUS Bill.
