There are really two questions evident in the post: appearance and fit.

I think 36mm looks proportionally balanced, and more discrete - consistent with a dress watch like these.

Agree with a previous post that lug to lug will probably tell the tale when it comes to fit, especially since the bracelets mount differently.

As much as I really want to like 36mm watches, they just wear too small for me on my 7 inch wrist. 38mm is is smallest I can go. Just me.

I have a 7.5 wrist and I have a few 36 mm watches, they look fine. They don't look out of place. I really like the pieces. I really do prefer 41mm though. That is the perfect size for me.

36mm is about as small as I willing to go with my 6.75” wrist, so as a general rule, I would probably say a 36mm on a wrist your size is too small. But it really is a matter of personal taste and would vary from one watch to another. Something with a lot of dial, like a Junghans Max Bill, would probably look great in 36mm.

Yes. In my opinion 36mm is too small for a man with a 7.5 wrist.

Most brands list 36mm as small or ladies.

Read this thread. A woman told this WUS member that - "If you want to attract a girl, then ditch the watch - it's too small and feminine looking".

That's Hilarious!

I’m having trouble choosing between the Tudor prince day date and the Tudor royal day date. They are nearly identical except for the fact that the prince is 36mm with a bubble while the royal is 41mm and more sports style I like the design of the prince better, because of the bubble, and so I was wondering wether anyone with size 7.5in wrists wears a 36 and how it fists. My current smallest watch is a 39mm and I’m going to be ordering the Tudor online so I want to be sure that it won’t be too small before I buy it. View attachment 16452360

It should fist fine but I would recommend removing the watch first

7.5" here and I do not think it is too small. My smallest is 33mm and I love it.

That looks great on you.
Looks okay in the photo but it did look a little small in person. I passed on the watch when everyone around me, from the sales lady (mind you, she was trying to sell the watch) to the wife and son. All said too small. Of course, the sales lady did not have a 41mm Datejust to sell me and no AD in Australia has one. LOL.

Really depends the watch. I tried 36mm Exp 1. Looked very small and feminine on me. Tried a buddies vintage 36mm gold flutted DD. Looked great. Can figure out the difference but I can’t say one way or other.

I have a Tudor Royal 38mm on my 7.25” wrist, and it’s too small. Wish I would’ve got a 41mm. Live and learn. Having said that, it does still look great and I love the watch. If I could do it over, yes 41mm. However, I’ve got it and I do enjoy the watch. I don’t think I will ever purchase below 39mm.

I can’t imagine how small a 36m would look on a 7.5” wrist.

I purchased a Seiko SNXS79K last year. I absolutely love the dial, but it turned out to be too small for my liking at 37mm. I have 7.25 in. wrists. I intend to sell it in the near future.
I just prefer a larger watch. It all depends on what you prefer.
