So I have recently acquired the Old Fashioned Cocktail Time watch, which is a LTD ED of 8000. To me 8000 seems kinda high for a limited edition, but then I started to think about the volumes that the maker puts out annually and was thinking, is 8000 of one model really limiting the market supply or is this Limited Edition more like a Serial or Numbered Edition. Does Seiko make 5x more of the other Cocktail Time series and are they all getting sold? What is the current annual productoin of Seiko these days anyway?

8K does seem a bit excessive for a LE. I mean, I realise that peasants like me have got a pretty slim chance of snagging a LE when it’s, say, 1 of 300 but 8K seems a bit OTT.
