Hello! I have my Oris Aquis on a bracelet and recently bought an original strap. And I cutted of too much of the strap to shorten it... So, now to wear it with comfort I have to slide the mechanism of clasp like this:

As you can see one pin is not hide into the clasp mechanism. Is it okay? Or is there any risk (to lose pin, etc.)? Thank you!

I would imagine that it will be fine. If you had the adjuster on the first (last?) hole of the sledge it'd stick out from the clasp anyway. Just for info I wear my ProDiver Date on rubber and the pin sticks out just the same way and it's never moved in 3 and a bit years.

The aquis rubber straps with the sliding clasp, have no need to cut the rubber. Only the older style TT1 rubber straps needed to be cut to size.

Even with the sledge on the smallest adjustment my PDD was still too big for my scrawny wrist and I'm almost certain that the AD ended up trimming a bit off the strap to get it to fit me.
