Right on the limits, a smaller case size would be better IMO.

It must be you who decides the answer to this question though, not others.

It looks a little big but if you had not asked I would probably not have registered it. Do you usually wear it with the crown facing your elbow? Picture to fuzzy for me to make out the watch brand.

I feel like taking it up close distorts the true look, tasking it from a far seems the best look .
Haha, It might be on backwards , but the brand is maurice lacroix

But all your pics are from up close. I went through a similar debate recently, & F2 talked me out of downsizing (actually upsized). From here this looks as much too big on me:
Watch Analog watch Clock Wrist Watch accessory

This is the exact same watch case. Not only the same size, but identical cases on the same wrist, this one just on bracelet & from further away (& more hand and body)
Watch Hand Dress Car Automotive design

The bracelet helps you. And even just as far away as you are in the first pic, once framed with your body, I think it already looks great. I've since let go of the ratios, dial diameter to flat of wrist width or wrist circumference to case size. Has to match your hands and body too.

I think no way it's not too big. But I barely even believe at all there is such a thing as too big or too small. Depends on what the individual likes and wants.
I wear a 36mm now and at first it seemed small to me because I used to wear like 40mm. I think it's actually easier for a watch to be too small than too big. Only real problem with too big is bashing it into stuff in my opinion.

Thanks, really appreciate you posting these pics, as it puts it into perspective about about only considering wrist size and watch size.
I think because of my 6ft 2 stature the 42mm was the better choice over the 39mm. I was over analyzing watch measurements getting the mm100% right, that I forgot about overall frame of a person.

36-40mm seems to be the sweet spot. Though this watch seems to have a L2L of a 40mm watch.
