Can easily be worn as a casual everyday piece or slightly dressed up. The bracelet does catch the light alot, and if thats something that bothers you, maybe dont go for it, but I find it gets alot of compliments and helps the watch look much more expensive than it really is

No, really, it is pretty versatile.

 

I have worn mine with a suite as well as jeans and a tee shirt. It fits very well with almost every outfit, IMHO.

I am most surprised by this watch...my prx blue dial auto is absolutely the most remarkable watch in that it's dial and bracelet dazzle in the light, and becomes so subdued and elegant inside...just all around perfect and brilliant watch...we even got a 35mm quartz version

It's one of those rare watches where I get a compliment on each day

I was actually thinking of getting rid of my Le Locle and getting a PRX because I want something more casual.

I kinda feel like the only way a bracelet watch can be "too dressy" is if it's all polished. The PRX is (almost) all brushed so it shouldn't have that problem.

 

Even though it's all brushed, every link on the bracelet is perfectly flat. That has a bigger effect on the sparkle-factor and it leads to really dramatic amounts of reflected light. Same principle as cutting and polishing gemstones.

 

Will go with mostly anything. Wear it and enjoy.

 

What about dressing it down with a rubber strap?

I think it adds a nice finishing touch for everyday wear, not to mention the compliments and conversations that will start up

 

when I think about a watch I could wear with basically anything anywhere, the PRX is among the top in my personal list

I'll buy one soon enough for that specific reason

 

I don't think it looks too blingy. They also offer a leather strap, at least for the full size version (not yet on the 35mm apparently).

 

It's what you make of it, I guess. Others would have no problem wearing it with a causal attire, while others would wear it as one of their dressier watches.

 

I don't find it particularly shiny. It's a great classic sporty look. I wore it to my son's soccer practice.

 

In other news, I'm too casual to be dressed up.

 

I just wore my PRX yesterday and funny enough i was thinking how shiny the bracelet is. But that's what makes it stylish. with that integrated bracelet and Royal oak vibes, it's a keeper!

 

If i might add, i really think the PRX Powermatic version is one of the best value propositions (bloody Hodinkee speak, i'm sorry...) out there. for the price and what you get and a great long power reserve movement,...it's such good value.
