Hi there !
I was wondering if there was anyone on here selling brand new SNK809 after a sapphire crystal mod, complete.
I love the watch, but a mineral crystal is a no no.. I also don't have any tooling or skill or time to mess with it.

Thanks for any heads up :)

I can do it... I have an 809 that's pretty clean. Just need a crystal.

I reckon a good watchmaker could do it for you, depending on your location and nearby watchmakers it may be less troublesome than an online transaction with an unknown seller. My take on a watch of this type is I actually prefer Hardlex. Hardlex has a clarity and less glare than even the best plain sapphire, I'd say the clarity is close to sapphire with clear AR coating on both sides. This type of double AR sapphire crystal is what will be hardest to find as an aftermarket part. Hardlex is cheap to replace and once it gets scratched to an unacceptable point just get it replaced.
