I’ve been looking to buy a simple omega quartz for a while and i always keep seeing listings from seller “engagerose” pop up. This person seems to be selling a lot of similar omegas which makes me suspicious that these are either fakes or Frankenstein watches. He constantly has a couple in auction. These do always reach around the 500 euro mark and the seller does have a 100% positive rating from over 350 reviews, sure there must be a couple who would’ve spotted this by now. What do you guys think, should i go for one or not?

Always buy the seller first, especially on that site.

If his rep is decent then I would also ask about any refund or return policy if any prior to a purchase.

Make sure you check if his rep is from selling actual watches and not some other item. Also, check if the feedback is not from buying stuff on eBay, some sellers will leave you a feedback after you buy something from them.

There are two things that I see on the watch itself that may be an issue. The seller claims it was just services, yet the day and date doesn't line up. Second, the lume looks impossible for a roughly 20 year old watch. I can't hardly get the lume to do anything on my 2002 IWC, yet this thing is far brighter than any normal watch is.
