Yes it's legit, such a shame that Omega ****ed it up with those hands.
Thank you. Yes, I would have liked the Mercedes hand, but not a big deal in the end.Yes it's legit, such a shame that Omega ****ed it up with those hands.
They did come with Mercedes hands on the earlier models.Did Omega perhaps return the old hands? You wouldn't see this with the "Mercedes hands", but Omega replaced the hands with new ones so they don't match the dial.
Yup. I believe this is a 1994 model. They did come with Mercedes hands on the earlier models.
On a mid 90's?They did come with Mercedes hands on the earlier models.
It can't be mid 90's, they stopped making them when the 2531 was introduced in 1993.On a mid 90's?
To the best of my knowledge, the Pre Bond watch ran from 1988-1995, although it was effectively replaced with the 2531 in 1993. I suppose 1994 and 1995 Pre Bond models were left over stock from previous years productions. It can't be mid 90's, they stopped making them when the 2531 was introduced in 1993.
You were right. This was made in 1993.It can't be mid 90's, they stopped making them when the 2531 was introduced in 1993.
It all looks good to me. Wear it in good health.Hi. I have only recently had my interest in watches reinvigorated and am only now learning about watch terms and how timepieces work. I just found this thread on the quartz Reference 396.1062 Seamaster. I purchased the one in the photo below new in the late 80s, early 90s. I would certainly appreciate any additional information about my watch. Thank you.
