These are weird, but I like them. 43mm wide probably means 41mm at the bezel, so like the Speedy Pro I'm guessing it will wear smaller.

And that adjustable clasp, wow. If they continue to choose not to put their adjustable clasps on the Speedy Pro but keep adding them to other models, I'm just going to assume Omega is trolling its fanbase.

Does anyone know if the new adjustable clasp would fit the 3861 bracelet ? It's only 1mm wider at16mm, so if the center links are the same size, that could be a possible upgrade ?

It's hard to understand why a few month apart the 3861 didn't get similar clasp... Unless this is an actual fit, and it's just a marketing decision to try to get extra cash from the clasp sold separately?

I am sure this has been considered by Omega before releasing the 3861, and I wonder if it's not an intentional choice in the end to get people to upgrade.

If it fits and/or they make one that does fit, I'm buying it. I choose to wear a seamaster on the hottest days because of its adjustability.

Being that this just came out RIGHT NOW, I would doubt if anyone has tried this yet. Maybe a few days though.

Now I need to see what the part numbers and cost are to retrofit that clasp to my speedy
I just stopped by the local OB and asked them to confirm that the clasp can be fitted to the Speedy Pro bracelet. I will post results here.

They just got back to me and said that while they are 99% sure it'll fit, they can't promise it until they receive a seperate clasp and mount it to my watch. Understandably, they won't try this with one of the Chronoscopes that had already arrived in the store today.

So I've got a clasp on order and will update once it arrives.

Please share the part numbers and lots of pics when you do try it!

Is it laterally clutched, like 1861s, or vertically clutched, like 9900s? All they mention is the column wheel (yawn).

It’s vertically clutched. On a related note, why isn’t the 3861 so-equipped? Purely aesthetics?

I want to like this watch, I just find that it continues to slightly miss the mark for me. I think it’s great and I still want to try it on in person, but it doesn’t edge out a new Moonwatch or another I’m eyeing, the Sedna gold FOIS (discontinued).

Also, am I right to be a bit disappointed that the bronze gold model has numerals and hands that are bronze, then PVD coated? I feel like they should be precious metal, but I also haven’t much of a clue of what I’m talking about

Got to try these on today. Like a lot of watches, they’re much better in person than in pics, in my opinion. They didn’t have the bronze gold, which is the one I think I’d like most, but these ones were very nice in person. I like the models that have contrast between the main dial and sub dials. The all gray model is nice, but the color combo is too close to the gray dial blue bezel Diver 300 that I already have.

Also, although the new bracelet with micro adjust clasp is nice, I’d definitely want this on leather.

A couple of bonus watches I tried on. The Bond Diver is really cool and incredibly light. The titanium mesh bracelet is really nice, but the overlap and clasp are noticeably thick.

This one is really tempting as well, and I’d love a ceramic watch. The SA said this one will be discontinued soon.

Next to the FOIS
