IWC devotees should be particularly watchful from 12 to 19 December 2007. During this period, we will be offering you the unique opportunity to bid in our traditional Internet auction for an extraordinary individual piece in platinum produced by us.

What first made its appearance in December 1998 as a minor venture soon attracted a large fan club. We are pleased to announce our pre-Christmas Internet auction for the tenth year in succession, and to mark this occasion we have put a very special connoisseur's item under the virtual gavel at www.iwc.com.

You can learn more details about the highly regarded one-of-a-kind timepiece and the course of the auction in this Newsletter.

Yours sincerely,

IWC Schaffhausen

IWC Schaffhausen is putting a precious, one-of-a-kind watch up for auction in the form of the sole example of the Pilot's Watch Automatic Edition Antoine de Saint Exupéry, Ref. 3201, in platinum. This first-class timepiece is accompanied by a rare original edition of his debut novel, "Courrier Sud" (Southern Mail), with a handwritten dedication by the author Antoine de Saint Exupéry. From 12 to 19 December, you will have the opportunity to bid for this fascinating individual piece. The proceeds from the auction are traditionally donated to a humanitarian institution, and the recipient on this occasion is the "Ecole des Sables - Antoine de Saint Exupéry" in the West African country of Mali, which provides a school education for Tuareg children.

From today, you can obtain complete and detailed information about the item up for auction, the minimum bid, the auction period and the supported organization in the Member Area at www.iwc.com. To gain access, you will need to have a profile. IWC undertakes not to disclose any data to third parties and to treat your personal details with strict confidentiality.
