IWC NYC F1 Movie Premier

Had an awesome night out with a buddy of mine. My AD invited me and a friend to the F1 movie premiere in NYC. Great cocktail hour with a display of IWC watches including the original modified green dial Ingenieur. Theatre was pretty intimate with reclining seats, free candy and popcorn along with a menu for an entree. Also gave us a goodie bag with an F1 hat and an IWC book. The movie was car and watch ****, plenty of closeups on the watches. I felt Tag Heuer really blew an opportunity with their new sponcership. Rolex signs all around every track, and nothing but IWC watches. I had purchased an IWC hat from eBay just for this event, and I didn’t have one. Fun movie, this is going to be a hit.

Great photos! I attended the one in so cal and had a blast. Though, they didn’t have the original green ingenieur on display for us. While not everyone I met was very social, I did make some friends with fellow IWC enthusiasts there, including some fairly young teenagers who already developed a great taste in watches!
