Hello:
Newly into Seikos, question though is this: what's the difference between the J series and the K series? :roll:
I understand that J means made in Japan and K somewhere else? :-S
Is this true, and if so is there any other difference? :think:

Thanks for your help folks. :-!

I'm a newb also, but from my reading I believe the J stands for Japan and K stands for Singapore. It is also my understanding that the quality between the two is the same or unnoticeable, as Seiko has good quality control.

A question to the experts: Is there a difference between K1 and K3 in terms of versions, or are they just two different factories?

AFAIK it refers to strap options:

K1=bracelet
K3=strap

I think there is no quality difference too. I got a K1 Black Monster and it's quite accurate! :-!
