I'm not a big movie buff, but always wondered, with a lesser character like this (no offense to Jeffery), is this deliberate product placement, just a wardrobe choice on set, or possibly his own personal watch? I know with 007, it is an obvious, and famous, product placement, but as you go down the cast list, I wonder...

It's no accident. Hamilton is, of course, just like Omega, part of the Swatch Group. They did this is Casino Royale, too (Le Chiffre wore a Longines Evidenza). Note also that the dealer in the poker game wears an Omega red-dialed Schumacher Speedmaster.

EDIT: Oh yeah, Jeffrey Wright's character is named Felix Leiter. Leiter is Bond's CIA sidekick in most of the movies, but has been played by several different actors.

Definitely a product placement. He (as the actor) or the costumer may have picked they watch put I'm sure they were directed to select from a handful of Hamilton/Swatch Group watches. Hamilton is very tied in to the movies...

Either way, that is a cool watch!
