Many of you might know me from my eBay store JaysAndKays and to those we have shared ideas with, much thanks for your insight.

I want to announce a roll-out of my revamped version of my JaysAndKays Fixed Lugs for the Core.

Those of you who are familiar with the product know that my JaysAndKays Fixed Lugs were designed with a 1-piece, Nato, or 5-ring Zulu in mind to resolve the annoying lug standing problem.

What's different now?

My prior version were made of a polymer and had through holes on the lug ends utilizing spring bars and allowing for quick and easy 2-piece strap changes with something as readily available as a simple paper clip.
This update to the product continues the concept but in a sturdier manner, being made of aluminum with hard black anodized finish, and with screw bar ends for that extra security many of you have asked for.
Because these JaysAndKays Fixed Lugs do not swivel, the nuisance of screws loosening over time is greatly alleviated but I do include a tube of loctite with the kit nonetheless.
Note, I do have spring bar variant available in this aluminum revision for those of you who still prefer having ability to swap 2-piece straps without needing a tool.

Similarly for me, I have the chrome finish lugs paired with an extreme silver Core. Would prefer a polished finish.

I just received a set of lugs from JaysAndKays for my Suunto Core. Also included in the shipment was a complementary 3-ring Zulu strap. The lug conversion was quite easy and trouble free. The lugs are sturdy and fit beautifully into the watch body and the strap is thick and seems well made. Thank you to JaysAndKays for answering my initial questions and for the fast and courteous service!

Sorry to drag this old thread up but I was researching JaysAndKays for some adapters and low and behold, they are banned. What's the deal? Why were they banned?
