Hi everyone.

I thought it would be interesting and a bit of fun if we had a post about the watches on our ‘Watch List’.

I don’t mean our “Grail Watches”, maybe that could be subject to another post here.

I am talking about the 1 or more watches we have identified as being on a list of the possible next watch purchase(s).

I think we, the watch collectors & the watch enthusiasts, all have a “watch list”, don’t we ?

Let’s have some fun and share them.

Feel free to post photos or just list them if you want.

Here’s my “watch List”.

The observant among you will notice something in common with mine.

Best regards,

  • When the Tissot PRX Auto with the white/silver dial starts selling below $600 NIB I'll want to pick it up
  • The GP Vintage 1945 has been on my radar
  • I've been wanting a German watch and the Sinn 556I could be the one
  • A Ulysse Nardin San Marco or GMT+/- is possible
  • I keep looking at the Doxa 300T Professional or Divingstar
  • I can't count out a Rado Diastar Auto
  • Some Vostok is almost assured to make it to my collection
  • I'm close to having a weak moment and getting an Omega DeVille
  • Or a vintage 70's Omega Dynamic
  • Someone stop me from wanting an IWC with the 89 calibre
  • I was very close to getting an Air-King with salmon dial from the 80's recently but couldn't make the deal work
  • Same with a silver dialed Air-King
  • I think I want a bronze watch but don't know which one
I'm sure I'm forgetting others. Once I get to 30 watches (I'm at 19) I'm done. Maybe.

I am looking/waiting for two-three.

First: Tag Heuer Autavia, don't want to pay retail, missed two on eBay at $1200 and $1500 because i was buying another watch and couldn't get two at the same time.

Second, waiting for the production of the WUS project Russian Vostok compressor.

The third possibility is Halios Seaforth in titanium. This is not decided yet.

I don't have one... for 25 years now I've just let my next acquisition find it's way to me. It's allowed me more or less experience every single brand, every single style and every single function available. (if I only I had the money to have kept them all though hah)

Rolex Sub Date 126610LN.

And that’s it. I’m 100% sure I’ll buy and sell many other (maybe dozens before getting the sub 🤔) but there is nothing else I have any sort of “plan” to buy.

Ok just one: (pic from current owner of this amazing CW LE).
