Had this for a few weeks now. It has been on my wrist ever since. I usually put blue loctite (the removable kind) on my bracelet screws. Has anyone done this? Thanks.
I think that is a good excuse to give it some wrist time.Great! Now you have me questioning the lume on my Snowflake; I don't recall the lume being mismatched? In fact, my memory of the Snowflake is that the lume is excellent. But then, I haven't worn it more than three or four times in the past 3 months or so, so I could be wrong. Will check tonight.
I'm thinking of doing similar to this but had an idea. Are the centre links on the replica submariner strap the same width as the OWC centre links ?Another idea I had if anybody is interested was to buy a replica Submariner bracelet and see if that would fit the watch. If not then I was hoping to be able to carry out a similar modification as previously illustrated and fit the clasp to the OWC bracelet. Unfortunately when it arrived I found that the clasp just wouldn't be possible to retro fit to the OWC bracelet. The replica bracelet just about fit the watch but I had to file the lower curved section of the end link to get the screwbar holes to line up nicely. Here's a link to what I bought: http://www...........watches.co/item.php?item_id=1581&page=g&category_id=81
The Submariner replica bracelet end links do not fit as well as the original OWC ones obviously, there's a small gap where they meet the curved case of the watch. The bracelet seems decent enough quality wise, it feels light in the hand however after holding the thick links of the OWC. It's acceptable to me, I'll live with it. I'll show some images so everyone can have a look. The clasp I find excellent. It has notches cut on the underside and it basically allows for tool free micro-adjustment, great for when you warm up and your wrist needs a touch more breathing space. When you lengthen the bracelet you cannot tell, there are no gaps visible from the extension as it all happens under the clasp.

The clasp is 18mm wide.

It comes with a Rolex crown badge attached which I removed with some delicate application of brute force and ignorance! I pulled it off with a pliers, then filed the mark that was left on the clasp with a needle file followed by a lick of an oil stone and finally some green steel wool.

Overall I'm happy enough and I think I'll be leaving this bracelet on. I haven't put it on over a suit yet but I have a feeling the extension available may not be enough. Will have to see, I use a 6.5mm wetsuit and a neoprene drysuit. I actually wanted to get the Rolex Sea Dweller replica strap but bought the Submariner one by mistake because I'm an idiot! The Sea Dweller clasp has a similar micro adjustment but also has a conventional wetsuit extension built in as well. I've ordered one of these clasps and will see what it's like, link here: http://www...........watches.co/item.php?item_id=2800&category_id=59
