Just wanted to share-OWC content

I've received the OWC 9411 about 1 wk ago and have to say its an outstanding piece. I talked with Dan and was asking about the styles and the wait times and happened to ask if he by chance had any "laying around". And guess what? This was a special piece that he was working on to see what it looked like. A 9411 blue dial/black bezel set up with 5517 hands. It really is a great watch. I typically dont post many comments about watches but felt like I should with this one. I wont go into details as there are several reviews written much better than I could articulate it but I wanted to share some pics of this beauty. Although I will say that over the past wk its averaging about -2 sec/day. I've been trying them on different straps in preparation for a trip to the Florida Keys in a couple weeks. I love the OEM bracelet and I have the mesh as well and those are great fits, but always have to try some new things too. So feel free to make more suggestions and add your own pics of your OWCs. Sorry for the rambling and on to a few pics.

Yeah, he said a "month or so" then a week later I got the PC issues email. So i'm not hopeful on the month, and think the "or so" will be longer than i'd like it to be !!
Edited my posted because I found the info I was looking for ...

I'm a little over a month on waiting for mine.

Well worth the wait (which is fairly short compared to some others!).

My MS9411 with A-10 Soprod and matching blue date wheel.

Looks great! I ordered the exact same one as last month. Can't wait for my wait to be up and have it on my wrist.

Great pics guys. Mine has been an almost daily wearer...in fact in has taken the spot from my Steinhart OVM. Waiting on my second one. A 5517 date dial with the seagull movement this time. Looking forward to more pics!!!
Pretty excited, just got build confirmation on mine! Should be joining the ranks of torturer instead of tortured soon! :) Thanks to all for posting pics, great to see how well they've been turning out.
^lucky you. Wear it in good health

Another one, god dammit !!! I long for a build notification email !! Seriously, congrats.

When did you order yours if you don't mind me asking? Hopefully I won't be too far after you
I checked my invoice number for you steppy and it's 00000680. Not sure what that tells you but I ordered back in mid 2011 to have it for my 40th. I got it about 2 1/2 years later!!! I'm glad I waited. Youse will be too...

Omg 2 1/2 years! Dan told me it would be 4-6 months.

I've heard that it's a shorter build time for the a10 movements vs seagull. Don't know if anyone can confirm this.

It definitely seems like it's shorter for ones with the A10. Has anyone even received one with a Sea-Gull recently? I'm up to 2 years on my snowflake with Sea-Gull now.
He is doing A-10's first and as the movements come in they move to the front.
That is why I went A-10, I wanted to try the case first but finially decided it was time to try that movement.

Thanks. I don't recall exactly, but well over a year ago. I switched mine from Seagull to Soprod quite a while ago and that no doubt sped things up a bit.

Wow, you're a patient man...that's a long wait & still counting.

Yep. I jumped on board early in the piece though. It's as lexvil said. A-10 first then the seagull.
At least he's up front about the wait and then it's up to the individual if they want to wait. You should wait. It'll be worth it.

From the lower globe....
