Just where do you buy Timex?

Timex has really been pumping out some nice looking cheap watches recently. But where do you go to buy them? I live in the United States in a small town surrounded by rural areas. We have a small Target and Kohls in town, nothing.

I was recently in the "big city" and stopped by a Macy's. They only had the usual Citizen, Seiko, Tissot $300-$500 watches. I'm going back in a week so I checked out Target and Kohls online, they have nothing in stock.

Is Amazon the only option? (Note, I don't shop Walmart and we don't have any big box memberships.)

EDIT: I'm talking about a real store, not online. There's 4 or 5 I'm slightly interested in and seeing them first is helpful. I doubt I'd buy all of them. Buying and returning online is free, but it is such a waste.

Thanks!

Amazon is your best option. Or from Timex directly via their website.

The last Timex I bought was actually a collab with Draplin Design, which was sold by DDC and not Timex:

You don't buy a Timex - a Timex find YOU :p

I think they are trying to get away from their past as the cheap watch you grabbed from the accessories corner in your local department store. While you can still get one from a couple of places like Walmart, even THEIR watch case is starting to get sparse for Timex space. They are definitely pushing online sales through their website and authorized store-front on Amazon much more of late.

Years ago, Walmart and Target used to bring in a lot of Timex watches. But I've notice that in recent years they're dwindling down. Normally I would not recommend buying directly from manufacturer website, but Timex's online store prices things pretty fairly. And if I remember you can sign up for their emails and get a coupon code. Check out their "For Sale" section too. I have seen some nice watches on there at a nice discount.

Not all parts of the US obviously, but I think much of the reason department stores stopped keeping watches in consistent stock, especially the cheaper $100 or less watches is because they are becoming excessively prone targets to being shoplifted. In my neck of the woods, Burlington Coat Factory and Kohls stopped long ago, Target only sells some cheap $10 or less stuff in a far back corner of the Men's section. Fred Meyers/Kroger eschewed that section altogether and focusses exclusively on watch sales from the Jewelry Counter and 'Fine' Watches.

Walmart still sells but the entire section is locked - you have to request an associate to remove an item and then immediately pay for it at the Jewelry Counter.

it's harder to find brick and mortar stores selling lots of Timex watches. the best selection is always online

I think watch stores in outlets usually have Timex if you live in the US near an outlet center.

I've bought a number from Timex directly (website). I bought a colab from Worn and Wound (its a fav of mine). I even bought a specific model not available in the US from Timex Canada via a Canadian buying service who handles purchases and shipping when the company doesn't allow international sales which Timex didn't. The cost was really reasonable.

My most recent Timex purchase was this hand wound watch from their official website. I wonder if the specialty ones are even available at physical stores.
