Hi,

This is another one of my dads watches I need some help with please. We are trying to find out as much information as we can about each of his watches. This one is a Kander but I cant seem to find anything similar to it. Can anyone help identify the model, year and any other information on the watch?

This one doesn't work but its possible to turn the hands with the winder

Many thanks,

Kieran

Not much to say.
But it is a ladies 'pendant' watch - 1930s

I would think that is more like 1960's-70's.
Cheap and cheerful ladies p/w, with a simple case and movement.
Bob.

Edit- Mikrolisk has Kander watches as registering in 1956.

The movement is a one jewel pin-lever, looks to be a Baumgartner (BFG) cal. 866 or similar. An inexpensive movement - these and similar from other makers were used in millions of cheap watches. The movements were used up to quite late, the 1980s or so. This watch could have been made in the 1970s.

Many thanks for the information. I shall pass this on to my dad.

Kieran
Well let me correct my post
Not "pendant" but 'necklace'
And 60s not "30"s

Sorry
