Description:
This a near-collector-grade KS 5245-6000. The case is unpolished and sharp, the hands, dial furniture, crown, crystal, and dial are in excellent condition. There are remnants of the original blue protective sticker on the back of the one-piece case. The watch is keeping great time; the date flips over with a nice 'snick'. The movement was serviced when I purchsed it a few years ago, but I have no records to provide with it. The movement is the legendary 52KS, running at 4hz/28800 vph with chronometer grade accuracy. It also has the super-fine regulation adjustment screw at the 7oclock position, which Seiko stopped doing in 1973, I think. The 52KS was the basis for the 4S15 used in mid-90s Alpinists and is very well regarded amongst collectors and watchmakers.

Please excuse any dust or lint in the photos, the blanket I had laid out apparently was used by my dog recently.

I am listing a number of watches today, please take a look at my post history for more collection cleanout. Thank you!
