I recently came across this vintage ladies watch,
on the dial it says Le Monde (and also17 Rubis)
never heard of that and couldnt find anything in the web,
can somebody help? or is it just a vintage fashion accessory, nothing sepcial?

I've seen Le Monde watches on eBay from time to time. Seems to be an obscure brand from the 1940s/1950s. Fairly low prices if you want to buy one.
