Say you're allowed to buy only 1 more watch and it has to be 1k or less, what would you get? And you can only get one, not I'd spend x amount for this and still have x amount left over to get this, no, you only get 1 watch

I'd pick up the "H2O Kalmar 2", in this config:

Just on the spot of 1000$ (and since I'm in europe, I get 1000 euros to play with :p ), looks awesome in this variation (imo), and unique enough for my tastes. It's been making a bit of an impact over on the dive watch forum, and I can def. see why.

Citizen Signature Grand Classic. $995 at retail price, though I have seen them at times under $700.

One MORE watch ... So, to ADD to what I currently have at a sub-1k price point, I'd go hi-tech. Something I don't have ... Atomic, solar, probably with chrono and world-time functions. Sporty, but not monstrous. Definitely analog (or possibly Ana-digital).

I expect I could find something in one of Seiko, Casio, or Citizen's product lines. Might take a look at Junghans too.

I'm leaning towards this, yes it's $30 over but I think it's worth it

If you like hi-tech, look at some JDM stuff.

A Casio Mantas or Citizen Attesa have insanely finished titanium cases and bracelets, some weight less than 90 grams, and are solar and atomic controlled.

Very fun to play with in boring meetings......
