My Solar Seiko and my Honda Fit seem to be a good Fit - both are practical, and reliable.

I wanted a Day/ Date watch, and this solar Seiko seemed to be a good fit. It is reasonably priced, very accurate (20 secs +/- per month) and a Certified 200mm Diver.

Lets see your Seiko solar watch...

Throw a Murphy coin edge bezel on that and you will get a lot of compliments here! I foolishly sold mines before Murphy came out with his bezel option; oh well.
I appreciate the suggestion, but I really like the looks of the original bezel a lot. Also, I don't buy watches hoping to get compliments, I buy what I like.

I saw the Murphy bezel modifications, and I thought that it looked very nice.

I'm not personally keen intaking a new watch and modifying it, because I really don't have either the tools or the knowledge to work on my watches.

The SNE109 is a pretty inexpensive watch, and it doesn't seem worth it to me to change it.

I also like the OEM bezels' contrast between polished and flat SS.

Maybe after I scratch the watch up some I'll change my mind :>)

SNE107 is my go to "nice" beater. Have it on a Bonetto rubber strap. It goes with me most days, thrown in my bag to wear as needed.

SNE011, my 6 year old son has inherited. Little small for my 8" wrist.

SSC081, just picked this up at Christmas. Busy, and not a read at a glance watch, but I like it. Need to find a strap for it, factory leather just didn't seem right for it...

With you on this, quite like the bezel. Plus no insert to scratch, crack, etc. Wear the heck out of it, and still looks good.

I do like some of the looks you can do with the Murphy bezel though... crap, now I have to buy another!
