Took a few of the vintage collection out to rearrange storage as there are a fair few more than planned.. + another 30 or so which are projects / Work In Progress  This excludes other brands and the 20 or so SKX's which I keep separately.. Just the J's included in this photo.

Had lots of practice on crystals lately so felt brave enough to polish this one, absolutely thrilled with the results as some of the scratches were rather deep. This is honestly the same crystal as above

Shame about the dented bezel / insert, but its original so staying unless I can find original replacements.

Almost tempted to keep this one... but already have an immaculate one in my collection

You've got to elaborate on how you got that crystal polished, as that's one fantastic job!

-Brian
:D Thank you Brian. Still working on the best technique, but just lots and lots of elbow grease; sanding with various grades of sand paper, then finished off with diamond polish - I use Scratch Genie. Honestly all there is to it. This model was a bit tricky as the crystal is slightly domed 😲

You can use a Dremel to speed the process up, but its difficult to get the right angle and consistency which often ends up resulting in additional marks / scratches that need to be polished out. Mineral or Sapphire crystal is more forgiving than acrylic for obvious reasons (hardness).

I've only done a handful of crystals so far. Practiced on old SKX hardlex crystals to start with and progressed onto just about everything else including faceted crystals which are by far the hardest in my experience to date.
