I have in my possession a Longines Caliber 302 (30L derivative). Looking through this site Longines 30L and other places on the web I have been able to find no other dial like it, a plain white face with full black arabic numerals. In addition, the 12 numeral appears to be offset to the left on this dial, the 2 digit is aligned with the 60 minute marker rather than the middle of the numeral. Is this a legit dial? watch 2.JPG IMG_20130610_102325.jpg

Dial looks very re-worked to me.
Probably original to the watch, just poorly re-painted
Even winged logo looks poor/incorrect

I think there is a good chance that this is a repainted dial. That is why you can't find another one like it.

What does this mean exactly? (referring to the picture above)

Even if it is refinished, could the entire dial make-up be fabricated? As in the fully numbered dial set up and the black hands? Could someone have had a fully numbered dial painted on even if no such dial was ever originally available?

Hi there,

such dial would have never ever passed the quality control even of a pin-lever manufacturer. Sorry, I can't understand the slightest suspicion that such a scribbling could be original.
