Looking for a Stealthy G-Shock - How's the GW2310FB-1?

I'm on a hunt for the right G-Shock to wear snowboarding in the winter, and mountain biking in the summer.

I'm leaning towards the GW2310FB-1 fore a few reasons:

Size - My wrist is small (6.5"), and the GW2310 appears to be one of the smaller G-Shocks
I like the all black stealthy look
Tough Solar
Round shape - Although I am starting to warm-up to the 56xx design.

I've never actually seen this model in person, so I am concerned about the negative display, and ability to take a quick glance to get the time. From the searches that I've done, I'm finding mixed reviews regarding the negative display.

What's your experience been like with the GW2310FB-1 display? Should I be looking for a watch with a positive display?

Any other G-Shock models that you can recommend that check the four bullets above?

It should fit your wrist fine. The display is a bit dark however. I would suggest looking into a GW-5000.

Just so happens that I am wearing a solar G-2310 Navy and gold that's a sharp looking watch

It also comes in black with a positive display I believe.

Not sure if the negative displays vary from models but they were hard to rear at certain angles. The light was weaker too compared to positive. They look good though!

I just bought a 2310 a month ago and cannot take it off my wrist! Very comfortable and utilitarian.

GW-2310FB is one of the better negative screen Gs

As is the GD-350

GD-350 x2

GD-350B and DW-5600BB

G-7800B

GD-400HUF. Particularly like the positive screen on a stealth watch.
