Looking for Day/Date field watch suggestions (non-Hamilton, non-Victorinox)
As the title states, I'm looking for field watch suggestions that have the day date feature. Something similar to (but not) the Khaki King.
Basically.. I like the Khaki King, but.... I like to try and diversify when possible. I have 2 Hamilton's now and a 3rd on the way:
1. Titanium Frogman (non-chrono)
2. Khaki King
3. Titanium Khaki PVD (on the way)
I bought one of the Victorinox Classic Infantry Day/Date automatics (with the green dial). It looks great, but there's just something about it that's not quite working for me. .. maybe it's just a little bit "too 3d" .. too many depth changes (different levels on the dial, raised numbers..etc..) ... not really sure though... anyway....
The Khaki King or the Victorinox will probably end up gifted to my dad, the other will end up traded or sold ... if I can find something suitable to replace it with

The first one that came to my mind is the Seiko SBCA001, but alas, no day window.

Yeah, I forgot all about the Seiko's.. I need to pick up another Seiko 5.. I sold my last one (it was the fleiger looking one that I can't remember the model number on off hand).. only issue was it is a little small on me.. so didn't get picked as often to wear.
I like the SRP275 style a bit more than the SNZG .. although that looks pretty sharp in black. I'll have to check out the EYKI.
I have a bunch of Citizens already... so that's out for similar reasons

Bah.. might be too small (36mm). Not that it always stops me... (my wrist is a bit bigger than 7.75") I think I'll try and hunt it down anyway.Hey, that's perfect, thanks
Yeah, Amazon had it fairly cheap, and for some reason the 1 day shipping was free.
