Hi All,

Was wondering if you could tell me anything about this watch based on the two pictures I have. Unfortunately I don't have anymore than these two pictures.

I am told it is from the 1950s, but I'm not even sure about that.

Rob, normally a watch with those stick hands would be from the 1940s, although some watches from the 1960s would have been made with those hands for a retro look. Best bet would be to let us see the movement when you get it.

The only sure thing is that the dial is not factory original and was refinished at some point.
Other than that a photo of the movement would be helpful.

Yeah I am no longer interested in it. Got some more info that it is most likely not at all from the 1950s and that whole refinished dial seals the deal for me. I was being told that it was originally bought for around 1,800 dollars. I find that hard to believe at this point.
