Sorry I can't help you locate a rubber strap for your Militare at the moment but there are some nice Kodiak waterproof leather straps that are worth considering. TC straps have a decent price for them this weekend(no afilliations).

I was able to purchase from Anonimo and it just arrived, but took a lot of patience dealing with them.

 

What was the process of doing this? I'm going to message them. Did they show you options or did you just have to shoot in the dark and say "send me a black one" or whatever?

 

So what's the deal with this? Why does Anonimo not just list these on their website? Seems quite unprofessional to not provide extra rubber straps when you sell sport watches.

Okay update, not good news:

I emailed both Carla and Dominique at Anonimo. One of them sent me a PDF with the Anonimo strap catalogue and the other stopped responding (presumably because they just didn't have what I was asking for). 10+ different straps you can put on a Militare, zero of them rubber. I emailed back to see if maybe they have a rubber one that they're just not showing and received:

Unfortunately we dont have Rubber Strapp for the Militare Model.

I also emailed TC straps (the original manufacture of Anonimo straps) to see if they could make me a custom one out of Cordura, and received this email from them:

Thank you for writing.

Only the straps on the custom made straps page can be made for the Militaire. We find the fabric straps have too much give for that watch.

Does anyone know who makes the rubber straps for the rest of the Anonimo line so I can contact them directly?

Or, does anyone have any other ideas on how to get this Militare on a rubber strap of some sort? I'm running out of options here. And yes, I realize it's not life-threatening to be stuck with leather strap they gave me, but it'd be nice to switch if possible.

I applaud your determination to find one! Unfortunately the original bands are very difficult to find. If Anonimo SA is telling you they don’t have any then it’s probably a dead end. However you could try buying a cheap rubber strap and then notching (cutting) out a section on top and see if that works. I would use an exacto knife to get a clean cut. I would practice on a cheap strap first. All it really is a notch on one end of the strap. But I am not aware of anyone that could do a custom strap in rubber, especially if it’s only one, maybe if it was a big order. But obviously you can get them custom made in leather of course. Even when Carla told me they had one in stock it took a few months and several emails to get it buttoned up. Happy I persisted. Sorry you didn’t have any luck.
