Hello again after a (too-long) hiatus!

I'm looking for recommendations for people who would be able to repair a JDM Seiko in NYC - when my SAEN001 last had to be serviced the place I took it to ended up sending it back to Japan (which of course took a lot of time and cost a great deal). Is this pretty much unavoidable?

Best,

That's what I did for my watch -- I bought it from Seiya Japan. But it was still under warranty. Is yours?

It didn't take all that long, although shipping wasn't cheap, and Seiya's service was fantastic.

Mine is no longer under warranty, I'm afraid - I was hoping to avoid sending it back to Japan, but that may just be part of the cost of ownership.
