I recently bought a Trifoglio Veloce watch, a stunning piece of work with a retro feel. I’ve already received a few compliments, and I do enjoy it. However, the rotor on the movement is exceedingly loud. I hear it with every movement I make, and it’s annoying.
I’ve emailed the manufacturer, and they say they’ve never heard of this issue before. They do admit that you can hear the rotor “because of the movement” but that they went with that movement because it was the only Miyota that fit into that case, seemingly blaming the manufacturer of the movement.
Has anyone experienced this with this or any other watch with a 8215 movement? Is there a simple fix to quiet this thing down? I’d imagine if Miyota made loud movements all the time, they wouldn’t be in business long. I suspect this is a Trifoglio build problem, not a movement problem.
Thanks in advance for your help!
