so here is another affordable with Miyota 8215. WUS executive summary - hands could be much better, simple dial is printed/lumed fine, Miyota movement is a piece of beautiful work under the microscope (one ruby bearing with visible crack though), not decorated, although obvious for a diver.

It's interesting that a decorated fancy looking movement might have serious hidden issues underneath whereas a rough looking movement like this is pretty fine when you look deep enough. Quite revealing.

Jebus the Miyota comes up looking pretty damn good! It probably helps to have your movement assembled by hairless robots.

I wondering if they're there because the hands were set with more basic tools than the big companies use?
