|Chapter Two by Maîtres du Temps|
Thanks to its unique combination of instantaneous big date, triple calendar, and innovative roller indications, Chapter Two is recognized as the world's most legible triple calendar mechanical wristwatch. As we progress through 2011, Maîtres du Temps is focusing on future innovations and expanding the popular Chapter Two collection. The latest variations to the Chapter Two lineup feature stunning blue and chocolate guilloche dials with color-coordinating alligator straps.

Maîtres du Temps translates as "Masters of Time" and we are so honored that the great master watchmaker Daniel Roth is part of our team. Along with Peter Speake-Marin, Roth helped develop Chapter Two. We were pleased that he was able to spend some time with us at Baselworld as it is always a thrill for our guests to meet with him.

Maîtres du Temps is extremely pleased to announce that master watchmakers Kari Voutilainen and Andreas Strehler are developing Chapter Three. These two horological maestros join forces in developing and creating an original, innovative, world-premiere wristwatch with a completely new bespoke movement. Kari Voutilainen, founder of Voutilainen timepieces and celebrated independent master watchmaker, is well known for his collection of decimal repeaters and Observatoire timepieces (the latter was awarded the 2007 Grand Prix de Gèneve award for Best Men's Watch) and for his new line of Vingt-8 models. Largely considered one of the most innovative and influential independents of our time, Voutilainen began developing the proprietary movement for Maîtres du Temps' Chapter Three in 2008, the first movement he has ever developed for another brand.
Ingenious constructor Andreas Strehler joined the Chapter Three project in March 2010. Strehler is well known for his work as an independent master watchmaker and the brand that bears his name as well as for creating the Opus 7 plus his own Papillon model. He is closely collaborating with Voutilainen to develop the technical interface between movement, complication, and case in addition to innovative production methods.
"It has taken us almost three years to create this masterpiece, and it is amazing to see how it has evolved. The interaction between the watchmakers during the evolution of the project's development is exciting. There is great synergy with this watchmaking tour de force, and the true spirit of the independents shines through in this groundbreaking new timepiece," says Steven Holtzman, founder of Maîtres du Temps.
We look forward to Baselworld 2012 when Kari Voutilainen and Andreas Strehler join us in the launching of Chapter Three.
