I am considering buying one of these watches and was wondering about the shipping options.

Air Mail is cost effective at $9 but he seems to recommend against it. Why?

EMS Express would be great if I were buying 3 watches, but I am only buying 1. At $25 it is a bit steep for that one watch.

DHL - Same argument as above.

So my questions are, getting one watch to the US, what is the best option?

Thanks!

$25 is pretty much the norm for shipping watches. Check out the ebay sellers. Try and ship a watch out of the USA internationally and see what they charge, I've been quoted $50 and more. Consider yourself lucky.

Thanks for your reply.

I guess my question is... Has anyone used the Air Mail option? How did it go?

I've bought a Parnis from him and I had opted for the airmail option. It arrived in time and no hassles with customs. Also HK Post is good ( a little slow perhaps but will arrive)

If you are not in a hurry airmail is fine. I have bought two sets of watches and used airmail on both. Like I said if you arent in a hurry its fine.

I purchased from him standard air-mail. Took about three weeks, no customs hassles, arrived just fine.
