Hi,

I've read through all the forums I could find concerning Gshock manufacture dates, but I can't find answer to my question. The batch number on my GW-5000 that I just purchased new is "I"... 201E135I. That means it was made in either 2009 or 2019. Quite the difference there. Is there any way to figure it out? I can't find an answer anywhere.

Thank you.

Thanks for posting that. I did see that in my searches, but there is no way of knowing if the watch was built in 2019 or if I just bought a 10 year old watch built in 2009. Am I missing something?

Stranger things have happened. I was just curious if there was a way of finding out for sure. Thank you for your input.
