Picked up another cool odd watch from my local finder man. Knew it wasn't a high end stunner, but it's right up my alley for uniqueness.

Thick and heavy all stainless rectangular shaped case, and hidden lugs are just too cool. The dial is also really cool with it's layout and patterns. Add in that it's fully functional and was super cheap; you end up with a great combo.

Quick correction on the movement - it's actually an Adolf Schild Cal. AS 1931:

The difference between the earlier AS 1568 and the 1931 is that the former lacks the elaborate fine adjustment on the balance; it also reverses the mechanism for the alarm (AS 1568: crown out = alarm off, crown in = alarm activated; in the AS 1931 it's the other way round).
