Well, well, ... very well it will be a beauty. :-!

My congratulations to those who get a wrist enought strong. ;-) And will command the Marine Original.

Mine is only 16.5 cms, it is too light. :-(

I like the swan neck regulation and the scew balance.

Very Best Regards,

Hi Jorg ,

As someone who has one of these on order I have to say this is shaping up to be a stunning watch , such a movement at this pricepoint is a horological bargain . The only thing that I noticed was that the seventeen jewels engraving goes across the stripes instead of parallel to them , which may ( or may not ) look more aesthetically pleasing . The blued screws , and particularly the balance , look great . Well done and I can't wait to see the finished product :-! Chris . :thanks

Great Pics Jörg!

I am very happy to have resorted my order sequence and got on the
reservation list. :-D :-D :-D

Ths price is just incredible, the movement looks like the one of the
GUINAND Regulateur...

Mr. Sinn recently said, that there were no more Unitas movements left...

Anyway... an awesome watch... I´ll be waiting for it to get on my wrist :)

Just thinking: any planning to use it also for an hand wound version of the Airman??? It would be great ;-)
But, perhaps, I'm only dreaming.....

 Sorry Martin..... you're totally right!!!
It was my mistake, being distracted by so much beauty....!!!! O|

In any case, dreaming is free of charge (at least for the moment) and my hope is to see finally a hand wound high quality Flieger, with such a beautiful calibre....

Thanks

Ugo

There are very few center-second modified Unitas movements ... Chronoswiss use them (also supplied by Chronoswiss to Wempe and Kobold, IIRC), and Guinand has them. Come to think of it, there must be a considerable market if someone can pull of a center-second modified Unitas handwound movement, what with today's large case diameters!
