Hey all,

I've had my Mark XVI for about two years, bought pre-owned. It's worked great up until a week ago. I was wearing the watch while washing dishes and all of sudden the bracelet came undone. Ever since, I've not been able to get it to close. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do or what it could be? Normally I'd just take it to a dealer and get it looked at but that's not possible at the moment and I'm unsure when I'll be able to do so. Cheers!

It's probably one of 2 things going on. Either the spring behind the single pusher is weak, and not allowing the catch to come out far enough to grab the pin; or the pusher is just a little gummed up, and not allowing the catch to come back out far enough to grab the pin.

Not much you can do about a weak spring at home, but I think I'd try some cleaner (or WD40) on the pusher while working it in and out, then try it again.
