Good morning everyone, I'm David and I've been lurking here off and on for a couple of years but just now registered. I want to thank you all for your info in helping me dive in to the world of vintage watches and I'm hoping some of you would be willing to check this out and see what you think. I'm thinking it looks a bit like a frankenwatch with the nonsigned crown, rather large case for the age, and large lugs? I'm definitely no expert just wondering if I should consider it or move on? The seller says its a JLC Master Mariner with a 42mm case and 20mm lugs, this is a good size for me but seems quite large for an older watch. Here are some pictures. Thanks for your help on this and all the other threads I've read.

I'm not an expert but that engine does not look like it was built by JLC. I particularly don't like the way the rotor is attached. This is however just my opinion.
