A place to show off the new carbon core mudmaster gwg2000, originally I was in the " I'll pass camp " but then a few videos on YouTube later and kaboom ordered on sunday through amazon using a Japanese market dealer & it arrived today.

Immediate thoughts are

More comfortable on the wrist.
Better strap construction.
To my eye it seems like larger font size in display slot.
Sapphire glass always seems way better to me then hardplex imho
Seems like a cleaner dial layout.

Hi all,
I had been itching to get a gwg2k, either desert color or black color. Desert color is preferable but I foreseen an issue on my skinny wrist. My wrist width is around 5.3cm and I normally wear GShock on 3rd or 4th strap hole. From a YouTube video, 3rd hole position will reveal some opening at the strap base. Not sure if it bother me in real life but it doesn’t look nice for me. Perhaps this is less obvious on black version.
Can any owner try to show me a photo of strap base when it is in 3rd hole position?

To my eye, the strap sits equally nice as with 4rd or 5th hole position.

BTW, your wrist must be 5.3", not 5.3cm?

My wrist is around 6.4" and 5.3cm in width. i mentioned 5.3cm in last post because i can't find my soft ruler to measure my wrist

My GG1000 fits my wrist on 3rd hole just nice, not too loose nor too tight. But needs 4th hole for my GA400.

How you get black strap by the way? buying 2x GWG2K?

hi all,

Today i accidentally found that the gap between upper forged carbon part and carbon casing near 11 O'clock is slightly larger compared to others 3.The gap is big enough for me to see a shaft (or bolt) inside.
Can't be sure if i receive it like this. i do wear it swimming frequently and no water leakage issue yet. But now i am not comfortable with this.

after checked GWG2000 explode view picture. it seems slightly tightening allenkey bolt will solve the issue. Can anyone who has experience swapping parts provide your opinion?
