Hello everyone...
I'm New here but have along relationship with G-shocks, going back to the GW-6000 days ..
For the last decade or so I've been switching between the GW-9400 (Blackout with Carbon Insert Strap) and various Pro Trek Models, the latest is the PRY-3510Y which I use with a PDW NATO Strap.
I want to get a New GWG-2000 Model, I am having trouble deciding which model to get (money is not an issue with this purchase):
1- GWG-2000-1A1 - classic look, might be the most "elegant" one of the group, fits perfectly with my work's "dress code" and I can still wear it while going out to have some fun in the evening with my wife and friends. Cons - a bit grey scaled..
2- GWG-2040FR-1A - Super-Unique and Limited, Has all that phosphorous look and basically (at least here in Israel) nobody has it. Cons - Might be a bit flamboyant for everyday use.
In addition - I am a bit worried about the orange bezel material of the GWG-2040FA-1A , I cannot seem to understand what is it's components and how strong is it comparing to the steel of the GWG-2000-1A1...
Is it weaker? Is It Stronger?
If someone can explain that to me - I will highly appreciate it !
BTW - thought about the TLC version - the lack of Lume on the hour-marks was disappointing. decided not to get it.
Thank You All!
Tomy.
