Yes, that is GWG-2000. Bands and adapters are different in -1000 and -2000.That looks amazing!!! Isn't that a 2000 though?? The band is different between the 1000 and 2000 i thought?? Just out of curiosity what band is that?? Does it have micro adjust? If I go the adapter route that band is in my future![]()
I googled gwg1000 with jays and kays adapters and there's quite a few images. Here's a link as wellThanks for the pictures tny, still would love to see a gwg1000 with them. And hear what people think. Also is jays and Kay's the only one out there?? Any other adapter out there??
I've not used adapters on any GWG-1000 or 2000. But, I have used Jays and Kays adapters on other Gs, including the GPR-B1000 Rangeman, the GWF-D1000 Frogman, and the GX-56 King. (plus I bought adapters for the GW-5000 but have not used them yet..) That company has been around for quite awhile and they make a good product. (the adapters are metal too usually) Plus they are reasonably priced. I'd recommend sticking with Jays and Kays. Then you can use just about any strap you like, or even a bracelet. Thanks for the pictures tny, still would love to see a gwg1000 with them. And hear what people think. Thank you again! I just looked and they look pretty good in those pictures. The only place I've seen them with realt people pictures is Amazon and the reviews weren't great. I am also concerned about the case being damaged by the adapters. I posted up a reply in that other thread, well see if anyone reaches back out. Once again thank you for the help! When I did a search on here it only brought up sales of bands and stuff. I am really looking for real world reviews preferably from people who are in manual labor jobsI googled gwg1000 with jays and kays adapters and there's quite a few images. Here's a link as well

GWG-1000 with adapters and new strap
Just picked up the GWG-1000 and couldn’t wear it comfortably so I bought the Jays and Kays adapters and a 22mm green Cincy strap. I had to melt some additional buckle holes to fit my 6.75” wrist. The watch is now incredibly comfortable. Thought I’d share if anyone else is contemplating...www.watchuseek.com
I only now caught the "DRZ400" reference in your username - somehow missed it the first time I saw it. Off-topic, but do you have any pics of the bike?Thank you again! Uhhh - you give your watches female names??
Now that I think about it, before I got my WR I did sit on a DRZ SM at my dealer. At the time it seemed crazy high in price. But then, my WR wasn't all that much cheaper as it turned out! And my bikes have clocks too. LOL
I have an 8" wrist and wear mine on the last hole of the strap. It isn't tight but due to how the wings sit on top of my wrist the watch is uncomfortable. To all you with the gwg1000.....anyone have fitting issues?? I have a pretty large wrist and hand the watch band usually sits on the 4th/5th notch from the end. The issue I'm having is pretty basic as the either too tight or too loose. The watch will walk slightly, pulling hair and resting uncomfortable on the wrist. This watch is brand new only worn twice.....I love it other than fitment.....and before I post it for sale or trade figured I'd reach out for others ideas or solutions.
