In case you were wondering what will become of Maurice Lacroix now that it has said goodbye to Baselworld after 30 years of attendance, wonder no more.

Unlike the Swatch Group, which is yet to announce any alternative plans for presenting its 2019 collections, Maurice Lacroix has conceived an unusual way to present its novelties for 2019.

Maurice Lacroix will now take over a visitor center on the Île Rousseau, an island and park in the center of Geneva that can be accessed only by bridge.  It is located at the point where Lake Geneva empties into The Rhone river.

The presentation will take place from January 13 to 16, in exactly the same week as SIHH, thereby with a view to capturing the attention of the increasing number of journalists traveling to SIHH.
