I realize that I will be made fun of for this, but my tastes and needs are very specific.

I want to know if anyone knows of a watch that has a sleek metal body and band, but has a digital display (hence NO TICKING!!), with a button for a light (to make those nigh-time bathroom trips trackable).

I have spent several years poking through different jewelry stores and online retailers, only to be sorely disappointed.

Any appropriate suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Well,I cannot think of the combo between digital and dressy..but if you're looking for a ana digi,I know Tag and Omega have several models

As for nice all metal digital, your best bet is Casio's Mt G or Mr G or maybe Seiko appleseed (these might push the boundary of dressiness shared by most members here though...)

Now I gotta don my flame resistant armor, just in case they chase me with torch and pitchfork....

Synequano :

My main complaint with the combinations is the ticking. I like sleeping with my hand under my head, and that ticking is a sure bet that I will either not sleep, or get fed up and throw the gadget across the room.

I am looking for something dressier, but even something as simple as a nice metal fossil would work. When I google "Casio's Mt G", I get a very nice metal analog watch. As for the Seiko, that one looks a bit too casual for me.

Thanks for the help!

bacari:

What is the name of the watch in the picture? Looks different. Not sure it would work, especially if those lights were constantly illuminated, but might lead me in the right direction.

As for the watches that you named, I looked at each of them, and none really fit what I am going for.

Thanks for the input!

i am sure MIB can outfit the watch with high intensity discharge lights to turn night into day so you are all set. :)

There should be plenty of good suggestions in here:
https://www.watchuseek.com/f296/what-best-looking-digital-watch-371778.html
from the top of my head:
Rosendahl
Phosphorwatch - don't know if they have a light however
Ventura
Braun
Nixon
Diesel (don't laugh but they make some nice digitals)
Seiko (the ones with E-Ink-display look pretty cool IMO)
Maybe Freestyle - the "Lopex 3" looks cool
Hamilton also have a new digital watch - the Pulsonic
Momodesign have a nice one
an older Casio WV-M400 or 300 or an i-range (basically the same model) - if you can still find them
Junghans Mega 1000

That's what I can think of right now - but there's plenty more in the above thread.

cheers, Sedi :)

Unsure of your location (perhaps update forum profile?) or budget, however I'm a fan of Casio G-Shock solar/atomic receiver watches. I'd recommend the MTGM900DA-8 as an economical quasi-dressy candidate (Amazon prox US$95) although I prefer no watch while sleeping and definitely not a heavier metal/resin bracelet style. YMMV...
