I believe every brand has in its history a milestone timepiece or more than one, sometimes.
I mean a watch which is an icon for the brand, a timepiece which is easy to recognize and many people (even not a watch collector) could identify with the brand.
For example, for Rolex it could be the Submariner series (in all versions), for Omega it could be the Speedy Professional Moonwatch, for Movado it could be the Museum, for Panerai the Radiomir series and so on.
What are (or what had been) in you opinion the icon of each different watch brand and why?

In terms of what made the company, what is most recognisable as a watch from that company, or what you see most out and about?

Breitling - Navitimer
Rolex - Datejust (the Sub is more popular with watch enthusiasts, but for sheer recognisability, the plain old Datejust is probably just as effective and even more populous)
Tag Heuer - Carrera
Oris - Big Crown
Omega - Seamaster
JL - Reverso perhaps?
IWC - too numerous. Pilot's watch, perhaps (Mark IX et seq.)
