I'm sorry if this has been posted before, but I don't even know how to search for it so please pardon me if I'm being a little paranoid.

I just got my milgauss gv a few days ago, and boy is it beautiful.

Out of interest and curiosity, I've been timing it against the stopwatch in my smartphone, and I check it every other hour or so. What I've noticed during these few days is that the watch stays on the dot during most of the day, but once a day (or twice), it goes up to +3 seconds over one timeing interval of about two hours.

I'm not sure, but I think the time it skips probably coincides to the time I commute back home from work. I carpool to work, and take the subway home, I wonder if this has anything to do with it.

Anyone able to tell me if this is okay? or should i bring it to get it checked? Thanks!

Or does your smartphone get time updates only periodically? And what is that frequency? The recommendation is to go 7-10 straight day without resetting watch time and see how it all shakes out. Checking hour by hour and trying to assess cause of variance will drive you nuts.

Also, not sure if there is a Rolex 'break in period'... I have experienced such with other watch brands... from weeks to months.

Just be careful to keep your watch away from magnetic fields.
I think the Milgauss is particularly susceptible. ;-)
