Bruce Shawkey's article on the history of Mimo (Finding Mimo) is interesting, with the innovations the company made (the Mimo-Loga was the first to include a circular slide rule), and how it owned Girard Perregaux to eventually get taken over by the latter (the "'child' became the 'parent'"). It turns out that Mimo produced a watch in the 1930s that had an 8-day power reserve. Anyway, the article concludes by noting that finding a pre-war Mimo can be quite the challenge. So congrats, on the find!

And we recently had one of the Mimos with customised branding here, labeled Junod Freres, Lausanne.
